長浜八幡宮の御旅所で、春と秋に神輿がここにとどまります。長浜曳山祭りでは、長浜八幡宮を出発した曳山が、道中で子ども歌舞伎の公演をしながら、この御旅所を目指し、本日（４／１５）の最後の公演場所がこの御旅所前となり、順々に曳山がやってきて、再び勢揃いする場所でもあります。ここは、長浜城の大手門跡を越えた城内（外堀の内側）にあたり、長浜曳山祭りが長浜城主であった秀吉公を強く意識した祭りであることが伺えます。

Mikoshi (portable shrines) stay at the Otabisho of Nagahama Hachimangu Shrine in spring and autumn. At the Nagahama Hikiyama Festival, the floats depart from Nagahama Hachimangu Shrine, and children’s kabuki performances are performed all the way to this Otabisho.
